Leading new generation venue management technology innovator expands executive team to broaden reach in North America
iVvy Inc., the award-winning global Venue Management Software company, today announced the addition of two new executives to their executive team. Daniel Melnyk has been appointed to VP Sales for Canada and USA, Kristi White has joined the company as SVP of Operations, representing the Americas. With offices in the UK, New Zealand, Australia and the United States, the expansion emphasizes iVvy’s commitment to providing its game-changing technology and support to enterprises around the world.
“It’s a pleasure to have individuals of this caliber join our team,” said iVvy’s CEO Lauren Hall. “We pride ourselves on creating greater connectivity, not only in our products, but also among our team, and these three individuals were chosen for their deep industry expertise, proven backgrounds, passion and remarkable ability to connect. With boots on the ground globally, we’ll be able to deliver more tailored and responsive services and support, as well as have a deeper understanding of our customers’ needs. This is a natural extension for us to leverage the tremendous demand we’ve had in so many markets, and I look forward to seeing Daniel and Kristi thrive at iVvy while opening the door to new international opportunities.”
Each of these new appointments bring a wealth of experience to iVvy’s growing team:
Daniel Melnyk is a seasoned hotelier with over 10 years of experience with independent, brand and franchise portfolios with a passion for technology as a tool to help hoteliers grow their revenue. He was previously Chief Revenue Officer for Hotel Revenue Co., where he managed a portfolio of professional development events and workshops across North America. “I’m thrilled to join a company whose values align so well with my own,” said Daniel. “Being a part of this team is exciting because of their mission to create a seamless end-to-end experience for users, and not to mention, the capability of the distribution engine to empower venues with live availability. It just simply makes sense.”
Kristi White is a thirty-year industry veteran. She has advised hundreds of hotels around the world on their business strategy, improving hotel performance and overall profitability. She is a recognized expert in the industry and a frequent speaker on revenue management and distribution at industry conferences and hospitality schools. Her time with industry leaders such as Rainmaker, Flip.to, and TravelClick gives her a unique understanding of SAAS based products and how they interact with the hospitality industry. “It’s a rare opportunity to be a part of a respected leader of industry,” says Kristi. “I’m humbled to be a part of iVvy’s team to help grow their footprint in the Americas, making it the solution of choice for event planners.”
The latest additions to the iVvy team come at a time of growth, solidifying the company’s position as a market leader in cloud-based sales and catering venue management technology for hotels, restaurants, function venues, golf courses, clubs, as well as chains and groups.
