This summer Mrs Fogg’s will raise the brunch game in the capital, launching Mrs Fogg’s Gin Brunch, offering Londoners a bottomless brunch, serving Bombay Sapphire G&Ts and cocktails, alongside delectable dishes, making for the perfect brunch party in the City. Setting sail every Saturday, the menu will feature brunch classics with exotic twists.
Mrs Fogg’s Gin Brunch which will pay homage to Mrs Fogg’s nautical theme and the below deck Distillery. Launching an impressive Indian-fusion brunch menu, with live entertainment, endless G&Ts, cocktails and even a build your own Red Snapper station, offering guests a Bombay Sapphire gin alternative to the classic Bloody Mary brunch staple. The sharing menu featuring dishes such as Akuri, Indian-style scrambled egg with spices, coriander and onion; and the Indian equivalent of the beloved bacon butty – a naan bread stuffed with crispy rashers of bacon. The menu continues with mains including the Punjabi chole and bean curry, served with Poha, a flattened rice, with a selection of breads. To end on a sweet note, guests can tuck into cardamon flavoured yoghurt with berry compote.
For guests looking to upgrade their brunch into a boozy affair, whole tables can opt-in for bottomless Bombay Sapphire G&Ts and gin cocktails. With additional cocktails on offer, guests can also enjoy a Rhu Baa Baa a mix of Bosford Rose gin, Fentimans Pink Rhubarb Tonic and Vaporetto Extra Seco Spumante, Yuzu Warrior with Star of Bombay and Fentimans Oriental Yuzu Tonic and Himalayan Spring a refreshing mix of Oxley Gin and Fentimans Valencian Orange Tonic.
During the summer months, guests can enjoy their brunch on the outdoor terrace, complete with aged-canvas umbrellas, wooden furniture and exotic plants. With music playing and drinks
free-flowing, Mrs Fogg’s Gin Brunch will take London’s favourite meal and turn it into a full-blown Asian feast with all the gin-based trimmings.
Last autumn, Mr Fogg met his match as intrepid adventurer Mrs Fogg sailed into East London to raise the bar at her Maritime Club and Distillery. Inspired by Aouda, the explorer Phileas Fogg’s Indian wife, in Jules Verne’s classic adventure novel, Around The World in 80 Days, Mrs Fogg’s serves up inventive cocktails and innovative dishes with a nod to her heritage and nautical travels.
