Sloane Stanley has today announced the opening of a brand new stand-alone delicatessen, Colette, at 315 Fulham Road, in the heart of Chelsea.
Selecting the iconic Fulham Road for their bricks and mortar launch, the debut store will span 861 sq ft of space and offer the very best of home-style cooking from sustainably sourced produce. Co-founded by Dimitri and Mira Plaquet, Colette’s extensive menu has been devised in collaboration with the team behind multi-Michelin starred Belgian restaurant, La Ville Lorraine. The brand’s first standalone store is due to open in Janurary 2020 and will offer a high-end home-from-home culinary experience.
Colette takes its name from Dimitri’s grandmother and seeks to unite the local Chelsea community and those further afield with a sense of joie de vivre. Offering the very best of home-style cooking in this bijou catering hot spot, Colette will host weekly menus based on fresh home-made dishes for any occasion. Every dish from the menu will be made-to-order and served on beautifully presented crockery and ethically sourced packaging.
Additionally, Callooh Callay, is the latest cosmopolitan pop-up to have joined the Sloane Stanley estate. Located at 316-318 King’s Road, the ‘East London hip meets South West London chic’ concept opened last month, and is available for visitors to come and enjoy until Christmas.
Commenting on the news, Hannah Grievson, Property Director at Sloane Stanley commented: “As we continue to expand on our current dining offer on the Fulham Road, we are keen to showcase the very best of what’s new in the market. Signing a debut and pioneering brand like Colette and introducing Callooh Callay to the estate, reflects our modern leasing approach to provide a creative scene for innovative concepts which will help cultivate brands. Our food and beverage line-up provides a day-to-night offering tailored towards families, couples, tourists and local residents, and I envisage Colette’s delicious menu and Callooh Callay’s offer will appeal to Chelsea’s high volume of footfall.”
Dimitri Plaquet, Co-Founder of Colette added: “We are delighted to be making our debut within this beautiful space alongside so many other culinary leaders along the Fulham Road. This opportunity provides Colette with the ability to offer the very best fresh, home-style seasonal cooking within the heart of cosmopolitan Chelsea. Working with a landlord that embraces our clear concept was essential in refining our community-focused dining experience. We look forward to becoming an indispensable part of the of the ever-evolving Chelsea food scene.”
